Staff Retreat Sound Session | Lumina Foundation — February 20
This early-morning session at the Lumina Foundation Staff Retreat offers space to arrive fully, before the day’s conversations, planning, and collaboration begin. Designed to support clarity, presence, and nervous system regulation, this experience invites participants to transition out of “doing mode” and into a more grounded, receptive state.
Through guided mindfulness and restorative sound, staff are supported in releasing mental noise, settling the body, and reconnecting with internal resources that sustain focus and creativity. Beginning the retreat with intentional rest helps establish a tone of balance, care, and sustainable engagement for the day ahead.
Sessions like this support teams in building resilience, preventing burnout, and approaching their work with greater steadiness and perspective, recognizing that well-supported people do their best work.
